Ellen McGarrigle is a freelance furniture & lighting designer based in Portland, OR. She holds a BFA in Furniture Design from Savannah College of Art and Design.
Her approach combines thoughtful materials, timeless forms, and a deep understanding of how people live and interact with their spaces. She is passionate about creating products that express personality while striking the perfect balance between form and function.
Always happy as long as she is making something, Ellen finds inspiration in textiles, organic forms, natural materials, and the human body. When she’s not designing furniture, she’s probably knitting something.
